Basic Plan Details

Included Calls - Both Local and National calls are included free in your plan fee.

Mobile Calls - Mobile calls are charged at 15 cents per minute on a per minute basis (in 60 second increments), with no connection fee.

13/1300 Calls - Calls to 13 and 1300 numbers are charged at 44c per call.

International Calls - International calls are charged on a per minute basis (in 60 second increments), with no connection fee at the standard International call rate.

Plus Plan Details

Included Calls - Local, National and Mobile calls are included free in your plan fee.

International Calls - Unlimited landline calls to Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, UK, USA, China, India, New Zealand, Italy, Vietnam, Philippines and South Africa. Other international calls are charged on a per minute basis (in 60 second increments), with no connection fee at the standard International call rate.

Service - The Basic, Plus and Premium VoIP plans are for residential use only.

Fair Use Policy - The "flat rate" calls VoIPex provides as part of the Basic, Plus and Premium VoIP services are subject to our fair use policy. The following usage is deemed to be excessive or unreasonable use:

  • Call Duration - We deem your usage of the service is excessive or unreasonable where the average monthly per call duration for flat rate calls exceeds 20 minutes per call.

In the event that we deem your usage excessive or unreasonable we will endeavour to contact you by phone or email using the the contact details you have provided. If after our request your usage continues at a similar level we reserve the right to charge you at the current Business SOHO National call rate for National calls or to suspend your service.

Customer Service Guarantee Waiver

The Customer Service Guarantee covers the supply of standard telephone services and enhanced call handling features and set out timeframes for connection of services, repair of faults and for appointments.

Where you request VoIPex provide the Basic, Plus, or Premium VoIP services we require that customers waive various rights that are specified in the Telecommunications Act, namely the Customer Service Guarantee (CSG). If you choose not to waive your CSG protectons and rights, Voipex Pty Limited reserves the right not to provide you with a service.

Emergency Service Calls

Please note that your VoIPex VoIP service can only be used for emergency calls (Triple Zero) when the service is active. Where your internet service is down or when power is out your VoIP service sill not work. Please ensure you have access to another mothed of contacting emergency services such as a mobile phone service to dial emergency services.

Service Access Requirements

VoIPex Voice over IP services require that you the customer have the following:

  • Broadband Internet Service - VoIPex recommends that a dedicated Broadband Internet Service with minimum download and upload speeds of 128 killobits per second be used for the underlying carriage service for your VoIP Service. Please note that if the Broadband Internet Service is not provided by VoIPex we cannot guarantee the quality of calls of your Voice over IP service, or that you will be able to connect to the VoIPex Voice over IP network. Please be aware that if you share your Broadband Internet Service with other users or devices the quality of calls made using your Voice over IP service may be affected.
  • Voice over IP Access Equipment - VoIPex recommends that you the customer use a G.729 standard compliant Voice over IP Access device or software. Please note that if the Voice Over IP access device or access software is not listed as a supported access device or access software, then VoIPex cannot guarantee the quality of calls of your Voice over IP service, or that you will be able to connect to the VoIPex Voice over IP network.
