On this page you will find information on troubleshooting email issues as well as links to email setup guides.

Why can't I send or receive any emails?

There are various reasons why you may be unable to send emails. We recommend checking the following:

First check that you can access your email using our webmail by opening your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc) and browsing to Enter your username and password details. If you are unable to access the webmail please verify you are entering the correct username and password. If you are unsure of your username and password please contact Voipex support on 1300 797 743.

Next check that you have the correct mail settings in your email program. You can find the default email information on this page. You can also find setup guides below.

If you are accessing your email from an internet provider other than Voipex, then you will need to change the outgoing SMTP server address to the SMTP address of the internet provider you are using. You can still access Voipex webmail from other internet providers for sending and receiving emails. Please note that hosted domain customers can use the Voipex SMTP server for sending mail when accessing the internet from an alternate internet provider.

Most Anti-Virus software will filter and scan your emails before sending or receiving. It may be that your Anti-Virus software is blocking your email program. If you believe that your Anti-Virus program may be blocking your email program please contact the Anti-virus provider for technical support.
